Contend for the Faith

CONTEND FOR THE
FAITH
Jude 1:3 Beloved,
while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I
found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the
faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
This is a wonderful
exhortation for all of us at this moment in time.
An exhortation is
basically the same as someone encouraging you through a rough time. Jude gives
us clear instructions today. We are to contend for our faith, which means now
is not the time to coast in your spiritual life.
But rather increase
in your spiritual life.
I know we all have
busy lives, and we must prioritize what are the most important things in our
lives. Walking with God is on the top of that list, not somewhere down the
page. We are instructed to contend for our faith, which means don’t let go of
the things of God. I am encouraging you to get back in faith. Believe God for
something good to come into your life today.
I challenge you to
pray today for 15 minutes uninterrupted and see what happens? Go ahead and
begin to Praise God for what you are believing Him for.
My prayer for all of
us today is that the Great Holy Spirit will burn within our hearts, and we will
return to our first love.
