Your true friends determine your destiny, who you choose to associate with and spend time with will have a definite impact on your life and future.
Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
Yes, your destiny is shaped by those you choose to have near you. There is an old saying that I heard. “You cannot soar with the eagles, if you are walking with the turkeys.” Funny but very true, so examine where you are in your relationships.
Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.
A true friend will never exploit your weaknesses; that friend will protect you until you overcome your challenge. Also, a true friend will not abandon you because you are not perfect.
It is to your advantage to associate with someone who is above you spiritually and emotionally. Someone who is not afraid of what you are afraid of. Don’t be afraid to ask intelligent questions that will help you in life.
Remember you have the potential to soar with eagles. Fly baby, fly.
