YOUR FIRST LOVE
Do you remember when you first got saved? For me that was the most amazing experience I ever had. After all these years I am still amazed at His amazing grace. Everything was new, I had purpose and meaning. It was a whole new world being right with God. No more hiding from Him and His people, the feeling of guilt and shame were now gone from my life. WOW.
Sin was such a terrible experience for me, I was so grateful to be free, that I would do anything for God.
Do you remember when you would pray just to talk with God? The fact that I could come to the Throne of Grace anytime I wanted. It is easy to fall into the trap of going to God in prayer only when you need something. It is time to fall back in love with our first love. There are so many distractions in the world, and yes even in the church. Please don’t let the offenses and hurts stop you. Nothing is worth breaking this beautiful fellowship that you have with Heaven.
Let me encourage you today to fall in love all over again with Jesus.
Enjoy every part of your salvation, prayer, God’s Word, Church, Worship.
There is a whole new season waiting for you as you walk with God in this new love.
